Yesterday was the all-school pep assembly for DCHS where students from across the district participated in games, honored the Homecoming Royalty, and recognized all participants in fall activities as part of Homecoming Week at DCHS. Homecoming continues with the parade on Friday at 1 pm. The Volleyball team will play the Sidney Eagles on Thursday night, Flag Football will compete at the state tournament on Thursday, Cross Country will travel to the Missoula and Broadus meets, Golf is at Divisionals in Laurel, and Football will play against the East Helena Vigilantes on Friday night. GO DEVILS!!!!
ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ACTIVITIES DEPARTMENT: Due to a lack of available officials, the Varsity Football game scheduled against Sidney on Friday, October 11th, has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 10th, at 7:00 PM
Next Monday, our students from DCHS and WMS will have the opportunity to listen to speaker Ryan Wetzel. He will be discussing the hope that can emerge from challenges dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts. This is a great opportunity for our students to hear from an accomplished Montanan on the challenges that everyone faces.
One of our traditions at DCHS is to have the senior class paint the wall at the football field with an original design for Homecoming Week. This year's mural is complete, and it looks great! Thank you to all of the students that participated! GO DEVILS!!!!
