Lunch for Tomorrow: Hot Dog on a bun w/ potato chips, macaroni salad, veggie, fruit & milk or SALAD BAR. If you had a paper activity card and would like your actual picture activity card please stop by the office. Thanks This is College Application Week and we will be doing some trivia to go along with the week. There will be one question each day. Students, you can use your phones or Chromebooks to look for or find the answer if needed (whichever is allowed by your classroom teacher) and you can collaborate on determining the correct answer. Someone in the class will use the classroom phone to call extension #5366 to answer the question. There will be a small treat for the classroom with the correct answer. Directly after announcements, the trivia question will be given. There will also be a daily call number, so it's not necessarily the first classroom with the correct answer to call, but the classroom with the correct answer that is the number for the day. (So if the call number is five, calls 1-4 would not be the winner. Have fun! Juniors and Seniors: The representative from Montana State University in Bozeman will visit the DCHS counseling office on Wednesday, October 11 at 11am. Please make arrangements with your classroom teacher if you would like to visit with the rep. Trading Card Kids: We are changing it to Thursday the 12th!! We will have a meeting Oct. 12th at lunch in the library. Food will be provided. Please email Austin if you are unable to attend. Thanks so much.

We are just days away from the DCHS Drive 4UR School at American Ford on Wednesday 09/27/2023 from 7:30am - 5:30pm. (we will stay as late as we have people driving! If it's close to closing, don't hesitate to stop out for a quick spin!) For each test drive in a New Ford, Ford will donate $20 to DCHS, up to $6000. Participants can preregister for Wednesday's Drive 4UR School event at https://d4ur.com/R99RJ or can scan the QR code on the attached flyer. All valid test drives must have a registration form filled out prior to the test drive as well as the post drive survey. Both take very minimal time! Please pass this along and encourage ALL to participate in a quick, easy, fun test drive so we can reach the $6000 goal for DCHS! Thank you! Go Big Red!!

Any senior boys interested in being apart of the ”senior boy’s dance” at the pep assembly on Wednesday, September 27th, there will be practice after football in the Auditorium. Thanks Seniors: Now is the time to get your senior photos taken before the weather gets ugly. Please submit them to Mr. Jacobson or Mr. Corbett. Thanks. There is a bed race signup sheet in the office. The bed races will take place after the Homecoming assembly on September 27th. The bed has to be constructed of a modified bed with wheels and needs to be controlled with a steering mechanism. It will be raced by a team of four people- one rider and three pushers. Encourage your classmates and friends to participate for a chance to win a prize.
