The Devil's Band is looking for drumline members for the 2023-2024 season! If you can read basic music and are looking to get involved, come sign up to be part of the DCHS drumline. The sign-up sheet is on the band office door, across from the shop rooms. There is no requirement to be in band, so anyone is welcome!

FFA: First FFA meeting will be Today at lunch. All new or interested members are encouraged to attend. See you there. The new member Ice Cream Social that the FFA officers had planned for Friday will be rescheduled because of teacher PIR training that day. New date and time will be announced soon.

Key Club: A Key Club welcome and introduction meeting will be held today in Ms. Fawns' room. If you are interested in volunteerism, leadership, and fun company, please join us during lunch to learn about our organization.
Z-Club: Ladies, there is a Z-Club meeting after school today in Ms Cohen's room. New members are welcome!
Students: Tractor supply is having a corn hole tournament this Saturday the 26th. This is a team event and it will $30 per team with 1/2 the money going back in the pot for the top 3 winners!!! The other 1/2 goes to the school!!! As of right now we have 11 teams but the more teams means more money currently the #1 winners pot is $82.50.

Student Council: There will be a student council meeting today at lunch in Mrs. Selvig’s class room. Anyone wanting to join student council will need to attend the meeting.

This is a reminder to all DCHS parents that the beginning of the year paperwork that was sent home with students is due back to school this Monday. It is important that this paperwork is signed and returned as soon as possible. Thanks, and Go Devils!


DCHS has updated the pricing for activity tickets for the upcoming school year.
Student Participant: $75.
Student Non-Participant: $50.
K-8 Students: $30.
Senior Citizens: $20.
Adults: $75.
There is also a cap for participant activity tickets. The cap is set at $175 for families with multiple students. Please reach out to the DCHS office with any questions. Thanks for your support, and Go Devils!

It is still a ways off, but it is time to start preparing! DCHS Homecoming Week will be September 25-29 with many activities still being planned. GO DEVILS!!!


There are still eight 22-23 yearbooks available for sale. If you are interested please come to the DCHS Office. The cost is $55. Come get them before they are gone!!

The DCHS Staff and myself would like to welcome you back for the 2023-2024 school year. We look forward to another successful year! We have some new educators in our building so if you are a veteran of the school, please make sure to introduce yourself. Trey Dempewolf will be joining us to teach Industrial Arts and Jennifer Olmstead will be teaching some Science classes.
We are having an orientation for Freshman and new students on Wednesday, August 16th. All remaining students will report to school Thursday, August 17th.

Schedules will be available on your Infinite Campus App on Monday, August 14th. If students need a hard copy, they can come in the main office on or after the 15th of August.. Freshman and new students will receive their schedules during orientation on the 16th.
Activity and Lunch tickets will be available in the Principal’s Office on Wednesday, August 16th the first day of school. Reminder to all Fall Activities participants that the activity fee must be paid before the first competition of the season!
In order to participate in activities, a student must purchase an activity ticket. Ticket pricing will be available at that time. You can also check the website or call the office after Aug. 14th. If you are participating in Fall Sports, you must have an Impact Test on August 8th or 9th from 8:00 to 11:00. The Impact test is for Freshmen, Juniors, and any new students. See the activities director in the computer lab across from the cafeteria.
Please check with the coaches on practice times.
Golf Practice starts Thursday, August 10th.
Cheerleading, Cross Country, Volleyball, and Football start Friday August 11th.
